Ortiz-Alvarado, Nancy Berenice

Nancy B. Ortiz Alvarado has a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a major in Consumer Behavior from EGADE Business School, a Marketing Master's degree in the same school, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey. She also has an Executive Scholar, Certified in Marketing & Sales Management from Northwestern University, Kellogg. She is the founder of Marketeras, an organization through which she performs as an independent consultant, offering her services to SMEs and multinational companies. She has specialized and developed her career with more than 20 years of professional experience in Marketing, Market Research, Business, and Internet areas. As a practitioner, she has worked in large and medium companies such as FEMSA-OXXO, GE Supply, Southwire, CNCI University, and NIC Mexico. She is a Full Time Professor, and has been lecturing for more than eight years at the Department of Marketing and Business Analytics at Tecnologico de Monterrey. She lectures diverse marketing courses such as Marketing & Creativity, Marketing B2B, Internal Marketing, Brands, Qualitative Research, and different TEC21 unit formations' for undergraduates. In addition, she has also designed online courses such as Branding, Digital Marketing, and Strategic Planning for UV and TEC21 unit formations'. At EGADE Business School, she has lectured on Consumer Behavior for the MBA Online alumni and Consumer Intelligence for the MBA program. She also has collaborated with UDEM teaching Marketing, Market Research, and Innovation & Product Development. She is an active researcher and has published in several journals such as The Journal of Psychology: Interdisciplinary and Applied & the Journal of International Consumer Marketing. Her research interest is focused on consumer behavior, well-being, sustainable marketing, and digital marketing. She has been recognized as a member of the National System of Researchers, as a Candidate Researcher at CONACYT (Mexico).
