Business owner, advisor and independent board member of several start-ups and organizations. Academic Background Gerardo holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering Management and Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and holds a master's degree in Science in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Texas. He also has postgraduate executive studies from Stanford and Wharton schools of business. In 2013 he graduated from the Harvard Align program. Professional Experience During his 35 years in the high-tech industry, Gerardo held senior executive global/regional leadership positions in HP during his almost 30 years with the company, working in the computers-storage, Printers and Services businesses in the US and Mexico. He delivers business outcomes through transformation and maximizing team engagement to grow revenue and improve margins. He has amble experience in operations, supply chain, quality, new product design, support and shared services- Finance, Marketing, Sales, HR, Procurement. In his tenure at HP, he delivered $1900 million USD in value with inside sales, optimization, cash flow acceleration, asset efficiencies, operation margins, cost reduction, simplification, robotics and automation. Prior to joining HP, he worked for Delco Products where he started his career as a manufacturing and process engineer supporting diverse automotive product lines. Gerardo has two passions in life, his family and creating strategic business value through innovation, people engagement and growth.
