Overview
I graduated BA in Physics from the University of Havana with the best average generation and specialty Solid State in 1980, Master in Physics (1992) at the same institution and Doctor in Pedagogical Sciences by the Central Institute of Educational Sciences Cuba (1996). Professor Instructor at the Central University of Las Villas (1980-1986), teaching physics and mathematics courses to engineering careers. Assistant Professor at the Pedagogical University of Sancti Spiritus (1986-1988) giving courses of general and theoretical physics students of Bachelor of Education with majors in natural sciences. Director of the Department of Physics (1988-1991) and Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences (1991-1994) in the same institution. Principal Professor of the Discipline of General Physics and Assistant Professor at the Higher Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology in Havana (1994-1997). Since 1997 I have worked in different ITESM campus occupying several positions: Associate Professor in Campus Hidalgo (1997-1999) Professor and Director of Academic Development in Campus San Luis (1999-2001); Professor and Coordinator of Educational Innovation at the Rectory Center Zone (2001-2002); Director of the Division of Professional in Campus Morelia (2002-2011) and Academic Director at the Rectory South Zone (2011-2013). I am currently Director of the Department of Mathematical Physics at the Campus Puebla. My research work focuses on the Physics Education. I am the author and co-author of five books, four educational software, two patents and fifteen articles arbitrated. I was a member of the Scientific Council in the Pedagogical University of Sancti Spiritus (1988-1994) and the Higher Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology of Havana (1994-1997). I am expert collaborator of the International Bureau of Education of UNESCO. I received the National Award for Science and Technology in the V Forum of Science and Technology (1993); Distinction for the Cuban Education for SINTEC (1995), as well as awards Support Redesign (1997) and Best Service Learning Course by the ITESM
