Associated Professor Luz María Velázquez Sánchez is linked with the humanistic studies department, and is in charge of woman development and gender equality projects in "Tecnológico de Monterrey" She is specialist in woman career development , gender equality, leadership, networking, balance of professional and personal life and also social and economic responsibility. She studied economic and administrative sciences in "Deusto" university in Spain, where she got the "Cum Laude" honorific mention because of her Women carrier development and world balance politics in advertising agencies thesis. Author of " Women professional development" which was presented in the International Book Fair of Monterrey in the year 2012. She is also coauthor of "Women entrepreneurship in Iberoamerica" which was published by RedEmprendia in 2015. Coauthor of "Leadership in teaching" in 2017. Was awarded the "Administrative and financial research Arturo Díaz Alonso" accolade as coauthor of "Is sustainability a gender's affair?" in the year 2016. Cocreator of Woman and children in Mexico: Future from the eyes of gendre equality, in Mexico in the Global Future: 2050 Forum. In 2011 was awarded the Working woman accolade from the Minister of work and in the year 2014 Woman of Tec As citizen, she took part of the family responsible business evaluators and working woman committee of the work and social forecast secretariate. She also took a part of the national selection committee of "El Norte" newspaper, and was councelor of the women of Nuevo León Social Institute and also of the Woman in Guadalupe institute. She has designed and applied Womentoring programs for workers and entrepreneurs. She is leader of the enterpreneur women in INCmty2014, INCMty2015, INCmty2016 and 2017, where she was in charge of innovation seen from gender equality, Woman inYech role models and Geek girls. She is also part of the Feminist Week committee in Tec de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. Director of Mujer Tec Award, where women of eight different categories related to women empowerment in the ITESM community are awarded since 2013 Chair of Women Empowerment First Immersion Conference in India, Chennai 2017-2018.
