Trans-scleral diode láser cyclophotocoagulation in the management of diabetic neovascular glaucoma Ciclofotocoagulación transescleral con láser de diodo en el manejo del glaucoma neovascular en pacientes diabéticos
Additional Document Info
Introduction: Neovascular glaucoma (NVG) is an aggressive glaucoma subtype of difficult management. Cyclodestructive procedures are a viable treatment option and diode láser ablation has been reported to be effective and safe. The purpose of this study was to evalua-te the effectiveness and safety profile of diode láser cyclophotocoagulation in diabetic NVG. Methods: Ambispective case-control study of 38 eyes (19 control group CG, 19 study group TG). Success was defined as intraocular pressure (IOP) < 22 mmHg or a 30% reduction from baseline.
