Castro-Muñoz, Roberto

Roberto Castro-Muñoz is the author of more than 90 scientific articles and 10 book chapters in the field of membrane processes and their application to environmental and food technology. He studied his second Erasmus Mundus Doctorate in Membrane Engineering (EUDIME) at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (Czech Republic), ITM-CNR c / o University of Calabria (Italy) and University of Zaragoza (Spain), and first Doctorate in Biotechnology at the National Polytechnic Institute (Mexico). Roberto has done a post-doctorate at the Prague University of Chemistry and Technology (Czechia). He is currently a researcher at the Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico). His main research activities are oriented towards mixed matrix membranes and nanocomposites for the separation of liquids and gases. Roberto actively collaborates with international universities and research centers such as The University of Manchester (UK), the Institute on Membrane Technology (Italy), Gdansk University of Technology (Poland), the University of Zaragoza and Valladolid (Spain), among others.
