Rector of TecSalud, Director of the Research Chair in Cardiology at the School of Medicine and Chairman of the Research and Ethics Committee of the San José Hospital and the Center for Research and Transfer in Health (CITES). He is a Surgeon from Tecnológico de Monterrey, with a Subspecialty in Interventional Cardiology from the Baylor College of Medicine, and a Doctor of Immunology from the University of Chicago. Guillermo is a distinguished member of the National System of Researchers of CONACYT, with Level 3 and has published more than one hundred clinical investigations. Member of the Medical Corps of the San José Hospital and the Houston Methodist Hospital; He is certified as a Specialist in Clinical Cardiology by the Mexican Council of Cardiology. He is Founder of the Transplant Laboratory at Methodist Hospital in Houston and was a member of the Board of the DeBakey Heart Center at Methodist Hospital. He is the founder of the "Change Me, Change Mexico" Program, which promotes projects aimed at the professional and personal development and commitment of young people.
