abstract
- This study aimed to identify the key factors influencing the satisfaction of graduates of the first two generations under the Tec 21 Educational Model of Tecnologico de Monterrey. The research used an econometric model of a binary dependent variable to identify the characteristics affecting student satisfaction with the new educational model. A virtual survey was applied to 578 final-semester students in the Mexico City region, corresponding to February-June 2023 and the same months in 2024. The findings indicate that just over a third of the students were satisfied with the educational model and perceived that they had achieved the learning objectives initially proposed. Moreover, the results reveal that factors such as the course design and content, the learning style, the interaction with the training partners, and the students' self-motivation were the main determinants of their perceived satisfaction with the academic quality throughout their professional training. © 2025 IEEE.
