- This paper proposes a modification to the methodology for implementing the modulation strategy of a PV inverter. The proposed approach enables direct generation of gate control signals from a DSP, eliminating the need for an intermediate digital processing stage. To evaluate both the conventional and modified strategies, experimental tests were conducted using a laboratory prototype. In the traditional SPWM implementation, both a DSP and an FPGA were used, whereas the proposed method relies solely on a DSP. The results include inverter output waveforms and electrical measurements obtained from both simulation and experimental validation.
