abstract

  • © 2015 IEEE.Traditional training offered by universities in the area of logistics usually involves a set of techniques that are applied specifically within the different topics that make up this science, which has resulted in a set of decisions and activities that optimize results in different areas, but they ignore the operation of the system as a whole. The use of simulators games and other fun tools that emphasize the interaction of the different departments of a company is important to reinforce the conviction that the decisions made in logistics are only valuable when the system is viewed in its entirety. In order to help students in undergraduate and continuing education professionals understand the importance of the interaction of different decisions, we have designed a simulator logistics decisions incorporating elements of Gamification. In this research the characteristics of the simulator and some preliminary conclusions of our work are presented.
