A quantitative and qualitative analysis was carried out with students at Tecnologico de Monterrey (Mexico) who did a one-week international trip to New York. The results suggest that the international short-term trip further developed the global mind-set of business students. Furthermore, professional aspirations and networking skills, which were also developed during the short-term international trip, act as amplifiers in the development of a global mind-set.
