  • We report the preparation of carbon sponges with highly hydrophobic and superhydrophobic metal nanoparticles from melamine¿formaldehyde sponges coated with metal¿organic structures based on Co, Ni and Ni¿Co with rod morphology using a simple one-step carbonization method at temperatures of 300, 500 and 700 °C. © 2021
