- © 2021 IEEE.This paper describes the design, assembly, and validation of natural circulation or thermosiphon solar water heater assembly kits for educational use. These tools aim to develop didactic activities related to thermodynamics' basic physical principles, energy transfer, and thermal stress. It is shown how for the students at the undergraduate level, this didactic approach has increased the level of understanding of these topics and their motivation and attitude towards experimenting and investigating other phenomena involved in heating water using solar energy.
