- © 2021 IEEE.The purpose of this study is to provide a teaching strategy to help educators improve their student's performance and the student's perception of the course. In this study, we compare two different teaching strategies with the use of different learning tools such as introduction videos, e-learning scenarios, and podcasts. We analyze the institutional student opinion survey (ECOA) of the Tecnologico de Monterrey and the final grades from two different academic years as the main comparison method. Eight hundred and eighty-one students participated in this study. The results show the improvement of the course evaluation and the improvement of the student's performance. The study demonstrated that with the proposed strategy both the student's perception of the course and the student's final grades have a considerable improvement.
