abstract
- Work stress and its impact on mental health have become a global issue. To address psychosocial risk factors in the workplace, the Mexican government introduced the Official Mexican Standard 035 (NOM-035) in October 2018. The NOM-035 includes questionnaires to assess employees' level of psychological risk while performing their job duties. This study examines the validity and reliability of the second measurement instrument in the NOM-035. The questionnaire was administered to 434 employees, and after several statistical tests, the results indicate that the instrument may not accurately identify Mexican employees at high psychological risk. © 2019 Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Facultad de Contaduría y Administración.
