abstract
- The constant development and availability of new educational technology platforms (EdTechs), together with the evolution of educational models and the growing need to assess the development of students skills and abilities, have reinforced the importance of studying and analyzing the learning dynamics that occur inside and outside classrooms in higher education institutions (Bygstad et al., 2022). One discipline that has been positioned to address this challenge is multimodal learning analytics (MMLA), in which diverse technologies are integrated to collect and analyze multiple attributes of teaching and learning scenarios (Blikstein & Worsley, 2016).
