- We are in a century of emergency.Engineering is creating efficient, design effective solutions.Research by design approach is needed to act in a time of emergency.We must learn from nature.Risk is an opportunity.Climate literacy is a key skill, which can be used to simulate crash-testing the solution in an extreme future context.We should work with what-ifquestions.Teach the challenge of acting as a human being, imagining how we want the future to look, and then designing the processes to deliver this.
