Enciso-González, Juan Antonio

Overview

Juan Antonio Enciso González studied the Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the ITESM Campus Monterrey, the Master's Degree in Administration (MA) at the ITESM, and the Master's Degree in International Management for Latin America at Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management & ITESM, also as Doctorate in public policies from EGAP ITESM. He recently strengthened his English language skills by taking the English Language Academy program at the University of San Diego. Dr. Enciso González is an expert in business strategy, topics on which he has published academic articles. In addition, he has participated as a speaker on various economic and institutional topics, given his academic career in the area of ¿¿international business and global economy. He has worked in the public sector in the Ministry of Commerce and Industrial Development (now, Secretary of Economy) and in the private sector in companies such as Nortel Networks, Tyco Electronics, Elcoteq and Global Trends of Mexico. He is a consultant on global business issues and a full-time professor at EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and has been Director of the EGADE MBA and EGADE - UNC MBA in Global Business & Strategy in Monterrey, as well as the OneMBA. He is currently the director of the EGADE-Arizona State University Executive MBA. He actively participates as an academic leader in various Executive Education programs at EGADE, including the Ternium SME Program, CAINTRA, MAGNA, Grupo Brisas, Clarios, Escuela Judicial, Grupo OXXO among others. Actively participates in liaison work with private organizations and companies. Dr. Enciso has coordinated various cooperation projects of the School in international consortia of the European Union including the PILA, EQUALITY, SUMA, UNIQUE, LA IPR HD and MUSE projects and is a member of the board of various organizations. Likewise, he is the Chapter Advisor of the Mexico Chapter of EGADE Business School of Beta Gama Sigma.

In the 75th anniversary edition of Tecnologico, he received recognition as a professor who leaves his mark, and in 2023 he was named within the Circle of Distinguished Professors of the Business School.
