Overview
The intelligent design of nature, manifested in the order and complexity of the cosmos and in the laws that govern it, inspires inspires Dr. Hernández to pursue a deeper understanding of the cause-and-effect relationships that underlie problems of scientific and technological interest. Dr. Hernández holds a Master degree in Computer Systems from Tecnologico de Monterrey and a Ph.D. in Informatics from the University of Edinburgh. His academic and professional trajectory includes participation as a speaker in national and international conferences held in various countries. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and holds several patents in the area of technology. Dr. Hernández has actively contributed to research and development projects supported by both national and international funding bodies. He has also led initiatives aimed at the optimization of supply chains for multinational corporations. He is currently a Level I member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) of México. His primary research interests encompass distributed and parallel computing, heuristic and metaheuristic optimization methods, data science, and the development of technological solutions in collaboration with the industry.
