Robles-Soto, Alan David

Overview

"Born in Los Mochis, Sinaloa (1980). He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Trade from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM, 2006). He earned a Master's degree in Marketing from the EGADE Business School (2008), as well as a specialization in Service Management (EGADE, 2009). He is a partner in the School of Rock Mexico team (2015 present) and served as Director for the Monterrey and Guadalajara schools from 2010 to 2020. During this time, he managed artistic training programs and produced over 100 concerts in public and private venues, cultural spaces, and squares across both cities. A musicologist at heart, he has been active in the music industry for over 20 years and is the guitarist for the bands Buffalo Blanco, Niña, Alan Erre, and Babylonia. Additionally, he has collaborated as a guitarist with artists such as Chetes, Jumbo, División Minúscula, Las Delailas, Los Claxons, Flip Tamez, José Madero, Caloncho, Susana Zabaleta, La Leyenda, Arath Erce, Brian Wright, and Steve Reynolds, among others. Throughout his artistic career, he has performed at the most prominent venues and festivals in Mexico and abroad. Since 2017, he has served as the Director of the Digital Music Production Engineering (IMI) program at ITESM, Monterrey Campus. Since 2021, he has also been the Program Director for the Bachelor s in Music Technology and Production (LTM) at the same campus. At the university, he has produced over 200 talks and events, 4 conferences, and 2 festivals featuring professionals from the audio, art, and entertainment industries. Furthermore, he has linked the School of Humanities and Education with 26 companies as training partners, designed educational units for the TEC 21 model, developed FIT-format courses, and implemented recruitment and positioning strategies for the school's academic programs."
