Estrada-Villalba, Eder

Overview

Éder Villalba is a distinguished Professor of Education and the Director of the Master's in Educational Technology at the School of Humanities and Education at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Innovation in Educational Technology from the Autonomous University of Querétaro and has a background in International Relations and Humanistic Studies. Éder combines a multidisciplinary approach with deep expertise in integrating technology into education. Throughout his career, he has led the implementation of innovative teaching strategies, focusing on areas such as Design Thinking, Creative Thinking, Educational Technology, and Competency-Based Education. His ability to manage educational programs, coordinate and support faculty, and mentor students has been crucial in maintaining high academic standards and ensuring the success of the programs he leads. Éder has also played a key role as a Regional Leader in Educational Innovation, driving projects that promote meaningful learning through the use of innovative technologies and methodologies. Furthermore, he has significantly contributed to the development of massive open online courses (MOOCs), reflecting his commitment to expanding access to quality education.¿
