Overview
Professional studies at the U.A.N.L. as a Dental Surgeon, later postgraduate studies in the specialty of Endodontics at the same university. I have worked as an independent professional in the area of ¿¿my specialty for 30 years. In 2007 I participated in the curricular development of the Dental Medicine degree program at Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2010 I started as a professor teaching the subject of Radiology and Dental Imaging. Later I was invited to participate in both preclinical and clinical subjects that involve my specialty (Endodontics) and that take place from the 5th to the 10th semester in the aforementioned degree. As of August 2014 and to date (10 years) I have been assigned the position of Director of the Academic Department of the ITESM Dental program, being responsible for the hiring, training and development of professors and I am responsible for the cost center with which covers supplies and maintenance of 3 laboratories and 2 clinics of the Dentistry program. I have served as the EBCS representative to the academic legislation committee. I have been part of the professional and postgraduate academic senate of the ITESM as a representative of the EMCS. I am currently part of the team redesigning new TEC21 curricula for 2026 and participate in the development of educational innovation in the area of ¿¿preclinical simulation exploring various elements of mixed reality.
