Bustamante-Castillo, Georgina Raquel
Overview
I am Associate Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Estado de México Campus, where I am responsible for ensuring the department s academic excellence by leading and supporting our faculty and contributing to the continuous enhancement of the educational experience.
I have more than 15 years of experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, education, and new business development. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience teaching courses and delivering workshops at the School of Business, primarily in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation. I have also led academic programs, business incubators, and learning experiences, supporting students and entrepreneurs as they transform ideas into impactful solutions.
I hold a Bachelor s degree in Business Administration and a Master s degree in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey, as well as a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
Before fully dedicating my career to entrepreneurship and education, I was part of the team that launched Party City s operations in Mexico. As a buyer, I contributed to adapting the company s product portfolio to the Mexican market and to the opening of its first stores in the country.
I strongly believe in the power of education and entrepreneurship as drivers of change, and in people s ability to transform ideas into solutions that not only create value, but also make a meaningful impact on the world around them.
