Reyes-González, Guillermo

Overview

He studied the Bachelor's Degree in Administrative Computing Systems and a Master's Degree in Administration with a Specialty in Business Creation and Strengthening at the Campus Estado de México of the Tecnológico de Monterrey and did his Doctorate in Administrative Sciences at the Escuela de Graduados en Alta Dirección de Empresas at the Mexico City Campus of the same Institute. He was general network administrator at Grupo Softtek where, in addition to being responsible for the group's network, he worked on projects in the National Agrarian Registry, the Public Registry of Property and Commerce of the Federal District, as well as in the BBVA Telebanco project. He was Systems Coordinator and responsible for the Data Security area in Servicios de Comercialización Empresarial, where he participated in the integration of Banca Confía into Grupo Citibank and in the implementation of the security systems of Ryder México and Ryder Servicios. Since 1999 he has combined his professional activity with academic work: he worked for the International Institute of Educational Research INITE, for the Universidad del Valle de México, for the Cristóbal Colón De LaSalle College and from 2010 to the present he is professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, teaching topics related to the fusion between business and technology, also participates in the design of training units. He also collaborates as instructor of diplomas for the Campus of Executive Education of the Rectory of the Metropolitan Area of ¿¿Mexico City of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has also collaborated in projects related to companies, including MercadoLibre, Juguetibici, Microsoft, Sigma Alimentos, TodoModa and Coca-Cola FEMSA, and participates as a mentor in the Best Mexican Companies program in collaboration with Deloitte and Citibank, obtaining the recognition of Outstanding Coach two times. He is a pioneer of electronic commerce in Mexico, founded in 1993 TododeComputo.com, an electronic commerce portal, of which he currently chairs the board of directors and which provides Dropshipping services to portals such as MercadoLibre, Linio, Amazon, Walmart and ClubPremier. He was part of the e-commerce committees of the Internet MX Association, of Ingram Micro México and IC Intracom México, and continuously participates in various forums related to the matter. He has also participated as advisor of Colegio Cristóbal Colón, A.C., and also as general management advisor of Laminados Camacho, S.A. de C.V. He participated in the publication of the results of the Research on Development Opportunities for the Technological Strategic Observatory of the Tecnológico de Monterrey and FEMSA. He also published the paper entitled "The Pull Model As The E-Commerce Strategy" in the Journal of Administration, Finance and Economics of the EGADE Business School of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He also collaborated representing Tec de Monterrey in the Advisory Council of the research project "Logistics for e-Commerce Last Mile" in Daqua Strategic Intelligence.
