Overview
Industrial and Systems Engineer from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara from which she graduated in 1999. In 2007 she obtained a Master's degree in Design and Development of New Products from the University of Guadalajara, and in 2017 a Doctorate in Education. Professionally, he has developed in the fields of jewelry and education, specializing in design for the manufacture and optimization of jewelry design, as well as in the link between the jewelry industry and the educational sector. During 8 he worked as Manager of the Department of Design and Product Development at Industrias Lior, the largest costume jewelry factory in Mexico and one of the largest in the world. He has been a speaker in forums and a judge in international jewelry design competitions. In the last 10 years he has participated in workshops and courses with jewelers from various countries. She is currently a professor in the Industrial Design career at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she teaches classes for Jewelry Design and Manufacturing Workshop, Advanced Jewelry Manufacturing Techniques, Jewelry Forging, Digital Modeling using Rhinoceros, and Project Evaluation and Management. In the industry, Alejandra is involved in advising companies in the local jewelry industry.
