Overview

I have a degree in International Business (LIN'08) and two master's degrees, one in Innovation for Business Development (MID'10) and another one in Finance (MAF'15). Currently, I am studying a Doctorate in Business Administration at Durham University in the UK. I am a full-time professor in Management and Leadership. Previously, I coordinated projects with companies for students in the Business School. I designed the semester i "Strategic Business Consulting", and I am participating in the implementation of the Tec21 Model by advising in the design and transfer of the new courses, and I'm leading the challenge of two blocks in Campus Querétaro. Also, referring to evaluation in competencies, I am certified in the Assessment Center methodology. I began my career as consultant at the Business Incubator and the International Competitiveness Center (CCI) at Tec, where I gained experience in the development of business plans and strategic planning. In addition, I did some consulting projects in Logistics and my thesis in Finance focused on the analysis of tax benefits under the IMMEX regime. As a Professor at Tec, I have taught the following courses: Foreign Trade Law, Customs Operations, Supply Chain Security, Managerial Accounting and Doing Business in Mexico. I have also been advisor in consulting projects for Business students. My administrative experience at Tec de Monterrey began in the Academic Projects Department, collaborating in the certification processes of academic programs with national and international agencies (i.e. CACECA, CACEI, ABET). Afterwards, I was Coordinator at the Support Center for Foreign Trade, where I managed governmental economic resources for exporting SMEs. In addition, I was member of the team that started the Certification Program in Supply Chain Security in the campus. I also had the coordination of consulting projects for Marketing students, my responsibilities included sales, quotations and students recruitment. My professional experience outside Tec, was at Mabe as a buyer of direct materials, where I developed skills to work under pressure, teamwork, orientation to results and conflict resolution, by having the responsibility to meet the requirements of "just in time" materials.
