Escobar-Bazaldúa, Andrea

Overview

Andrea Escobar-Bazaldua since a very young age, was interested on photography, ballet, traveling, drawing and design. She also liked math, chemistry and physics, so when the time came, she decided to study Industrial Engineering with a minor in Systems Engineering. She got her bachelor degree from the Tecnologico de Monterrey Campus Puebla in México, and graduated with Diploma of Excellence in Integral Formation. Her passion for design lead her to study her master's degree in Industrial Design with and specialization in computer-aided design at the University of Nebrija in Madrid, Spain. She won a CONACYT scholarship which allowed her to do so. Combining both points of view, engineering and design, is the reason of her unique vision. Her experience in Mexico, United States and Spain, goes form automotive industry, educational quality, interior design, project management; and innovation and design. Currently she develops herself as the Coordinator of the InnovAction Gym at the Tec de Monterrey, advising different projects to make an impact. She is also full time teacher, and has been National Designer of the Study Plans of TEC21. Awarded this year as Magister Socius 2023.
