Overview
Ramón Alberto Sarmiento Segura is a Ph.D. candidate in Business Administration at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a Lecturer at Tecnológico de Monterrey's Business School, within the Marketing and Analytics Department. He holds two master's degrees, one in Marketing Management and another in Communication Sciences, as well as a bachelor¿s degree in industrial and business administration. Additionally, he has participated in various international training programs and courses.
He possesses over 15 years of professional experience in strategic design, institutional branding, international promotion, and project management. Ramón has led and participated marketing and communication initiatives for the Ministry of Economic Development, NGOs, and multilateral organizations. He also served as the Creative Director for ProHonduras, where he coordinated content, events, and foreign investment attraction strategies.
His doctoral research is titled: "From Local Hero to Global Recognition: The Corporate Image as a Catalyst for COVELO¿s Success," a study on how the prestige of international recognition influences the corporate identity of a second-tier micro-finance NGO.
Concurrently, he is working on the academic article: "Do Committed Volunteers in International Service Organizations Develop Authentic Leadership or Personal Brands," which explores volunteers in service organizations, analyzing the interaction between authentic leadership, organizational commitment, and personal branding.
Ramón maintains a vision that integrates strategic analysis, institutional commitment, and applied creativity to synthesize theory with practice. He generates value in multicultural environments, excelling in both professional and academic spheres.
