Computer Systems Engineer (ITESM - 1997); with Master's degrees in Business (EGADE Business School - 2000) and Information Technologies and Communication (Politecnico di Milano - 2010) and currently a PhD candidate in the area of ¿¿Interface Design from the University of Barcelona. Professor in the areas of Interactive Design; ERPs and Data Visualization in the Industrial Engineering and Computing departments of Tec de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. In the professional area I have experience in the following positions: Head of the Technical Support area at Grant Prideco; Manager of the Support area; Networks and Telecommunications in the company Aceros RGG. At Tec de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey I have worked in the following positions: Information Systems Coordinator; Coordinator of International Academic Agreements with Europe, Asia and Oceania and as Director of Planning, Systems and Quality in International Programs Dept . I am currently Academic Program Head of the Business Engineering and Information Technology at the School of Engineering and Sciences. Additionally, he collaborated as a consultant in emerging technologies in an Italian company (Fluxedo) and a Turkish one (Typorama). I have developed data visualization projects with Heineken Mexico; Prisma Hotel Group; Telefónica and CEMEX. In 2019, I started the initiative of the Data Science Hub at Tec de Monterrey to promote projects in this discipline in the northern region.
