Domínguez-Solís, Germán
Overview
He is an Engineer in Information and Communications Technologies and has a master's degree in Information Technology Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico, in 2012 and 2015. He has various certificates in the area of Data Science and IT: Professional Certificate in Data Science Data and Enterprise Data Science Certificate from IBM, Cloud Computing and AI Certificate from Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Professor Facilitator.
Mr. Domínguez has more than 10 years of teaching experience and is currently Director of Entry of Computing and Information Technologies at the School of Engineering and Sciences, Monterrey Region of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has taught online classes with more than 900 students in the areas of Programming, Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
He has participated as a course designer for in-person, distance learning, hybrid, and self-paced online formats nationwide. He is a designer and instructor of courses for accountants from the IMCP (Mexican Institute of Public Accountants), courses in LMS (Learning Management Systems), advanced Microsoft Excel courses and workshops on new technologies for education. He is a writer of Insights related to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for Continuing Education at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Likewise, he is a consultant in the private sector for SMEs performing data analysis, reports and dashboards for decision making.
Currently he develops educational research and innovation projects with artificial intelligence and student and teacher data analytics. In 2018 he received the Inspiring Teacher Tutor award at the national professional level, awarded by Digital Education of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico.
Likewise, he received the awards for Best Teacher Evaluated by Students (ECOA) in 2017 and 2019 in online courses in e-commerce and technology and technological innovation systems.
