Overview
At Tec de Monterrey, I am a professor at the Design Department and Leader of the Futures Design Lab, a space of engagement between innovation agents with the objective to identify opportunities and to discuss implications of new technologies. My experience covers the development of new businesses, micro-venture capital, financial services, software development, industrial automation and manufacturing, market research, digital marketing, and education.
I am interested in supporting entrepreneurs and businesspeople to grow their project, specially when they are based in new uses for technology. I participate as mentor, judge, and coach at entrepreneurial events and competitions such as MassChallenge and POSiBLE Mexico. Recently, I was judge for the QS Reimagine Education awards.
I hold a masters in Industrial Design and Product Innovation and a B.A. in Mechatronics Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey. I also hold a diploma in Social Management and Community Development from the National Institute for Social Development, and certifications as product family manager from MIT and Innovation Management Associate from the Global Innovation Management Institute. I am a member of IEEE's Society for "Implications of Technology in Society".
