Greetings to you, My competencies consist of Visual Design, I have experience in the Art and Design Industry for several years. I promote the transmission of knowledge innovatively, with leadership and management of Educational Innovation projects focused on drawing and long-distance collaboration with professors from international institutions. Another one of my competencies is creating visual works in traditional and digital techniques, thanks to which I have been part of international-level art exhibitions. Finally, I have been an active member of institutional committees at the campus and school levels because I believe it is important to contribute wholeheartedly to projects. Hi, my name is Miguel Torres Carlos,I started working as a drawing instructor at Tecnologico de Monterrey in the fall of 2013. What interests me the most academically is the intersection between art , aesthetics wih other disciplines. I enjoy helping students unfold their own skills and their knowledge on diverse art practices in applied arts and culture. In my teaching methodology I like to combine technology, as well as traditional art techniques to help student discover their connection with media. In order to keep myself intellectually challenged, I am running a research project to identify ways of improving student performance in terms of anatomy representation. As a design leader of the Drawing course, I am responsible for keeping the subject updated and changing if needed. I often try to find new ways to help society engage with art, in internal projects that connect students with non-profit Mexican organizations, and art production in collaboration with The MUI at Tecnologico de Monterrey. When it comes to collaboration, I like to prevent and solve conflict in positive ways.
