Anabella Davila (Ph. D. The Pennsylvania State University) is a tenured professor of organization theory and human resources management. Formerly she was the Research and Ph. D. Program Director at EGADE Business School, Tecnologico de Monterrey. She has co-edited the books European & Latin American Caribbean Strategic Partnerships: Unleashing the Potential (India: Macmillan); Understanding Organizations in Complex, Emergent and Uncertain Environments (UK: Palgrave-Macmillan); Best HRM Practices in Latin America (Routledge, 2009), and Managing Human Resources in Latin America (Routledge, 2005), two special issues on the same topic (2005, 2007) and the book Cultura en Organizaciones Latinas [Culture in Latin Organizations] (Siglo XXI, 1999). Additionally, she has several chapter contributions. Her articles have appeared in the following academic journals: Journal of Business Ethics, Organizational Dynamics, Journal of World Business, International Business Review, International Journal of Manpower, International Journal of Human Resources Management, International Journal of Educational Reform, Revista de Empresa, Universia Business Review, Administración y Organizaciones, Revista de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades Iztapalapa, Revista Mexicana de Investigación Educativa. In addition to culture and human resources management practices in Latin American organizations, her research interest includes human development and sustainability. Her work examines the social logic that governs Latin American business organizations.
