Guzmán-Rodríguez, Laura Esmeralda

Bachelor in Public Accountant graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey with a master's degree in Administration from the same institution, she has postgraduate studies in research from SKEMA Business School in France and a PhD in Business Competitiveness and Economic Development from the University of Deusto in Spain. She obtained the Cum Laude distinction in her doctoral thesis due to her relevant contribution to the business framework with the study on factors that impact innovative multicultural teams. She has taught courses in International Human Resources Management at the University of Deusto, Spain and at SKEMA Business School, France. She has participated in consulting projects with the Chamber of Commerce of Industry in the Basque Country and the Chamber of Commerce of Westchester County, NY. She has worked as deputy director of Strategic Planning and financial planning at Terza S.A. de C.V. as a project leader for the implementation of the organizational performance evaluation system (Balanced Scorecard) in El Carmen, Nuevo León. She has participated as a speaker in international research conferences such as CLADEA 2021 ¿ ¿Innovation, Conscious Business and the Future of Education¿; INC Monterrey (2021); IFE Conference (2020, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025) with various educational innovation projects; Research Colloquium on New Technological, Business and Social Dynamics for a Sustainable Americas Relationship organized by ESCP Europe ¿ EGADE Business School (Centre d¿Études et Recherche Amerique Latine Europe), 1st Forum for the Exchange of Experiences in Conscious Business among others. She has participated as a reviewer and evaluator of research manuscripts in indexed journals such as IGI Global Publishing, International Journal E-Business Research and in the Scientific Association of Economics and Business Management (ACEDE) in Spain. She has participated in NOVUS educational innovation projects, implementing Artificial Intelligence tools for the improvement and evaluation of business proposals in various training units as well as the use of Virtual Reality from February 2023 to date. She is an active member of the Humanistic Leadership Academy and participates in international research collaboration groups such as Knowledge Management and Innovation with the University of Deusto, the University of Seville, the University of Cádiz and the University of New Delhi in international HR management and cultural diversity in the workplace. She is an active member of the Conscious Business Center as part of the design team for the Concentration in Conscious Business. She is the author of several research articles on leadership, multicultural teams, innovation and conscious business, her specialization focuses on international human capital management, conscious business, strategic planning and organizational performance evaluation systems. She has participated in the design and delivery of Executive Diploma programs from the Vice-Rector of Continuing Education (VEC) for companies such as Grupo BEREL, Grupo Financiero BANORTE and Ternium among others. She currently works as a full-time professor in the Department of Management and Leadership at the School of Business at the Monterrey Campus, and is a researcher and consultant in strategic planning and organizational performance evaluation systems.
