PhD in Population Nutrition Sciences from the School of Public Health of Mexico (ESPM), with a Master¿s in Public Health with a concentration in Nutrition, and a Bachelor¿s degree in Nutrition from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí.
I work on topics related to public health, social determinants of nutrition, food systems, nutritional epidemiology, and population-level dietary analysis, with a particular interest in food security, its determining factors, and its implications for diet and health.
My work focuses on generating scientific evidence to inform the development of public policies and programs aimed at promoting healthy eating, improving food environments, and reducing health inequities.
