Zavala-Parrales, Ana Carolina

Overview

Ana Carolina Zavala Parrales belongs to the Business School of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, in Campus Saltillo, where she works as an academic advisor in the Management and Leadership career; In which, it guides students to apply the concepts of business development from conceptualization to commercialization. Ana Zavala is part of the group of professors who design two lessons on business models in the new Tec21 Model. Ana Zavala received her Bachelor´s degree in Information Systems Engineering at the Catholic University of Nicaragua in 2004, later obtaining a Master's degree in Management applied to Formulation and Evaluation of Projects at the Autonomous University of Coahuila, in Saltillo, Mexico in 2010. Currently, She is studying a Master's Degree in Strategic Foresight at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Education at the School of Government and Public Transformation, through a scholarship granted by CONACyT-Secretary of Energy. Ana Zavala has a Diploma study on Information Technology by the University of Alcalá de Henares, in Spain; as well as a series of Diploma´s studies in Management Skills and Project Management by the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. Ana Zavala worked as Head of Material Resources at the Research Center for Applied Chemistry (CIQA) from 2010 to 2016, executing important projects for the institution in the area of acquisitions of goods, public works and tenders. In addition, she has served as a business mentor in two national technology-based research projects for CIQA, Institute of Ecology, A.C. and the National Laboratory of Graphene Materials, driven the projects to the Binational Innovation Nodes program of the northern region (NoBI-Norte) and to the CleanTech Challenge Mexico in 2017 and 2018. Ana Zavala has a book chapter publication and two presentations at international conferences; as well as knowledge about intellectual property, which has allowed her to develop two national patent applications. Ana Zavala has contributed to the training of human resources at the Bachelor's level, having directed 10 research theses in the careers of Marketing, Languages and Public Relations and Development and Educational Innovation at the LaSalle University in Saltillo. Ana Zavala has a great passion for developing projects with a social sense.
