Muciño-García, Claudia Berenice
Overview
I'm an architect since 2015, and have an MSc degree in Advanced Sustainable design from the University of Edinburgh since 2018, with a specialty in Latin American cities, Sustainable development, and energy efficiency. In the latest years, I have also acquired specialties in mitigation of climate change in developing countries, new urban politics, economy and sustainable cities, the New Urban Agenda, and social innovation.
Since 2013 I have worked in diverse architecture and civil engineering firms as a designer and structure developer.
I have taught at the university level since 2015.
I have also worked in the public sector, in the local Urban development area in Celaya, in the Direction of historic heritage and urban image (2019-2021).
From 2020 to 2022 I also worked at the Swiss company Impaakt as a lead analyst of environmental and social impact, generating impact reports for diverse companies such as Casio, Chipotle, Boston Properties, Twitter, Kraft, Costco, and Dominos' Pizza, among many others.
In 2021, I was a Fellow at the sustainable development solutions network of the UN (SDSN youth) and in 2022 I became a mentor at the network.
In 2019, I started to teach at ITESM on campus Qro. and since 2022 I am a full-time professor at campus Puebla, where since 2023 I am also Director of the architecture program.
