Ramírez-Alonso, Edgar André

Dr. Edgar André Ramírez Alonso holds a degree in Physics and Mathematics by the Michoacan University of Saint Nicholas of Hidalgo (UMSNH), a Master of Science by the Institute of Radioastronomy and Astrophysics (IRyA) UNAM campus Morelia and a PhD award by The University of Sheffield, England, uders the supervision of Prof. Clive Tadhunter. Subsequently he carried out postdoctoral research at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, at the National Institute of Optical Astrophysics and Electronics (INAOE), Puebla, and with Dr. Erika Benítez of the Institute of Astronomy of the UNAM. Dr. Ramírez is an specialist in Mexico in polarization applied to several fields of astronomy, focused on active galactic nuclei and software development.
