Reyes-Zarate, Gabriela Guadalupe

Overview

Gabriela G. Reyes-Zárate, is a graduate of the Universidad de las Américas Puebla with a bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master's in Manufacturing Administration. She completed a REFA Industrial Engineer Specialization at REFA Institut Germany. She worked as a Process Analyst Engineer at the company Luk Puebla S.A. of C.V. for 9 years. From 2004 to 2010, she worked as a professor at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. From 2010 to date, she is a full-time professor at the ITESM Campus Puebla in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. She has fully approved the Teaching Skills Development Program (PDHD) of the ITESM System, the ASESORE module and 30 other training courses from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. In May 2022 she received the classification of Associate Professor. She has the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the American Society for Quality. She presented a NOVUS Educational Innovation Project at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in which she developed the ERGO VISION software to perform ergonomic assessments in real time through Windows Kinect. She participated in the Women in Science congress, León Guanajuato in May 2015 with a project publication ISSN: 04-2015-071610212700-203. She gave a conference at the University of Guanajuato "Competences and university training in Professional Women. She participated in the MAN MADE project of the Industrial Engineering Academy together with the European Union. She currently coordinates multidisciplinary projects at Campus Puebla. She has a relationship with companies in the region in which she develops projects for the students of the subjects she teaches. She has also German and English languages.
