Antonio Favela Contreras is a full professor in the Department of Mechatronics at Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Monterrey México, member of the Mexican National Research System SNI-I and of the Mexican Academy of Science. For more than 30 years, he has participated in various continuing education courses and led applied research projects in system identification and modeling of stochastic processes, computerized control, logic control systems and adaptive predictive control. His main research interests include adaptive and predictive control, embedded control systems, analysis and control of hybrid systems and industrial process control.
