Rodríguez-Aceves, Lucía Alejandra

Overview

She has degrees in Industrial Engineering and Systems (Tecnologico de Monterrey, 2005) with Minor in Entrepreneurship, Master in Business Management (Tecnologico de Monterrey, 2008) and Ph.D. in Administrative Sciences (EGADE Business School, 2014) with Specialization in Strategy and focus in Knowledge Management. She is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Guadalajara and is a member of the Master in Engineering Management (MEM) faculty, at the same campus. Currently, she is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI-CONACYT), Level I, in the Social Sciences area. She participates with the Entrepreneurship Research Group (GIIE) at EGADE Business School and is responsible for preparing the annual report of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) in Jalisco. She has been a Visiting Professor at University of San Diego (USD) and at Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN-UPIICSA). In addition, she has coauthored various scientific publications in the areas of entrepreneurship, family business, and knowledge management. As a practitioner, she has participated as a mentor in different entrepreneurship programs and has co-founded and promoted two technology-based ventures. PhD Talks, a do it yourself platform for science dissemination through short videos www.phdtalks.com, and Serenatta, a web platform to hire live music quickly, easily and safely that increases the visibility of independent musicians.
