Overview

I have professional and teaching experience since 2007 at Tecnológico de Monterrey where I have worked as a professor of Professional, Postgraduate and Continuing Education. Likewise, I have been Associate Director of the Regional Department of Computer Science at Mexico City Campus, National Director for the B.S. in Computer Science and Technology program, Leader of the Academic Aspects Team of the same program and Member of the Area Academic Aspects Team for the School of Engineering and Sciences. I obtained a PhD. and a Master's degree, both in Computer Science, from Tecnológico de Monterrey. I have taken leadership courses from Tec de Monterrey, the University of Palermo and the University of Michigan. I have specializations in Data Science and Machine Learning from Johns Hopkins University, Google Cloud, Imperial College of London and the University of Michigan. I am certified as a Google Certified Educator level 2. I carry out research in educational technology and didactic strategies. I have 7 articles in indexed journals and 27 publications in national and international conferences. I have been an evaluator for NOVUS projects, CIIE congress and Rómulo Garza Research and Innovation Award. I have 6 copyright records of software systems oriented to teaching and to the Mexican Sign Language. I am a member of the Technical Council of the General Exam for Graduates on Software Engineering Degrees, as a representative of Tecnológico de Monterrey, at CENEVAL and more recently, I achieved the classification as Associate Professor of Tecnológico de Monterrey. My areas of interest are educational technology, didactic strategies and strategies for the design and deployment of the educational model.
