Patiño-Garcia, Nora Ana

Overview

Nora Patiño, is an independent strategy and finance consultant as well as a pert-time professor of Business at the TEC. She leverages her broad experience as a strategic planning and finance executive and consultant to support clients across industries. Nora was part of Egon Zehnder leadership consulting and executive search and previously served as the Head of Central Planning, SBU Finance and M&A at Metalsa in Monterrey, Mexico with responsibility for the Finance BU, risk management, and M&A. She had joined that company as the Head of Strategic Planning & Marketing for Commercial Vehicles. That was preceded by a stint as Director of the Mexico City office of Alvarez & Marsal. Earlier, Nora was a Senior Manager for Strategic Planning at the Coca-Cola Company in that city. She launched her career at A.T. Kearney in Arlington, Virginia, where she advanced to the role of Manager for Global Professional Development. Nora earned a BA in economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA (focusing on finance, economics and entrepreneurship) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Besides Spanish, she has acquired a near-native command of English. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
