Ornelas-Sánchez, Elva Yadira

Leader of the Futures Design Lab and Constelation of Futurists in Tecnologico de Monterrey, Yadira is a professor at the Architecture, Art and Design School. International speaker in topics related to futures, innovation, design, and education in countries such as Dubai, USA, England, China, South Corea, Sweden, Netherlands, Poland and Argentina. She is a former director of Idea Couture, a global strategy and experience consulting firm, where she lead strategic and foresight projects for Fortune 500 companies and organisations such as UNESCO, Procter and Gamble, General Electric, Anheuser-Busch, LG, PepsiCo, Chicago Health Coalition, Grupo Industrial Alfa, among others. Yadira has also more than 20 years of experience in higher education institutions in Mexico and USA where she has held leadership positions advancing the discipline of design programs focusing on the intersection of design, business, and foresight. She is a former Dean of CEDIM, where she lead the curricular design and implementation of seven bachelor degree programs. (Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Digital Arts and Marketing) She is a member of CIEES and COMAPROD, Mexico's accreditation boards for higher education programs of Architecture, Design and Urbanism.
