Alcantar-Nieblas, Carolina

Overview

Carolina Alcantar Nieblas holds a Ph.D. in Education from the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa, Mexico, and has approximately ten years of research experience. Her early work focused on school violence and cyberbullying from the perspective of student bystanders, exploring variables such as prosocial behavior, moral emotions, and school climate. More recently, she has expanded her focus to examine school and family factors that influence these behaviors. Currently, her research interests include social entrepreneurship competencies, open educational resources, organizational skills, and digital transformation in higher education. She also specializes in the development of psychometric instruments and theoretical models using structural equation modeling. She has coordinated research projects, standing out for her strong organizational skills, strategic management, and ability to meet goals in collaborative and interdisciplinary environments. Her leadership is evident in team coordination, the design of solid research methodologies, and engagement with academic networks. She is an active reviewer for academic journals, a member of the Mexican Council of Educational Research, and is recognized as a Candidate in Mexico's National System of Researchers. Additionally, she has delivered lectures and workshops for educators and pre-service teachers, reinforcing her commitment to academic training and development.
