My name is Daniel Quintana García. I studied for a PhD in engineering sciences at Sonora Institute of Technology (ITSON). It belongs to the Sistema Nacional de Posgrado-CONACYT. Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher for the School of Engineering and Science at Tec de Monterrey, campus Monterrey. I am interested in developing and applying cutting-edge control schemes in dynamic systems by guaranteeing numerical systematicness via convex optimization techniques. Mainly, I focus on problems such as state observers design, output feedback, fault detection, fault-tolerant control, and unknown-input estimation. My expertise includes undergraduate teaching, membership in international research projects, participation in national and international congresses, and, recently, I am exploring project management. My passion is teaching and researching. I really like to transmit my knowledge to the new generations.
