Overview

Parminder Kaur is a researcher and educator dedicated to advancing gender equality and social equity. As a Professor at the School of Humanities and Education at Tecnológico de Monterrey, her research focuses on demography, family formation, gender inequality, pay negotiation dynamics, gender-based cultural practices and their impacts, as well as immigration and integration processes. She holds a Ph.D. in Demography from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, completed at the Centre d Estudis Demogràfics (CED), where she combined data science and social research to investigate economic disparities, migration patterns, and the social consequences of demographic change. At Tecnológico de Monterrey, she teaches and mentors students in intercultural leadership and data analysis, preparing the next generation of scholars and changemakers.
