Rivera-Royero, Daniel Orlando

Industrial Engineer and Ph.D. in Transportation, Technology, and Policy, currently serving as a Research Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Santa Fe. I have extensive experience in transportation, supply chain, and logistics systems, with expertise in developing optimization and machine learning models to support data-driven decision-making. My research projects at UC Davis, funded by Caltrans and NIST, explored applications in supply chain management, humanitarian logistics, disaster response, e-commerce, and traffic flow. I am skilled at simplifying complex problems and algorithms to enhance efficiency and reduce computational time. Dedicated to inclusive and interdisciplinary education, I actively integrate analytics, systems thinking, and societal impact into my teaching and research.
