Villaseñor-Tapia, Elda Cristina

I possess a Master s degree and a PhD in Biotechnology Innovation Sciences, specializing in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, from CIATEJ. My research is centered on the investigation of metabolic diseases and the assessment of bioactive compounds with therapeutic potential, employing the analysis of biochemical, metabolic, histological, and molecular variables. I have garnered experience in both fundamental and applied research, in the development of food and nutraceutical products, and in technological innovation, including a patent application filed with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI). Additionally, I have taught in the fields of nutrition and molecular biology. Currently, I am engaged in the development of scientific research projects dedicated to generating knowledge that has clinical and social significance.
