Bachelor in Chemical and Systems Engineering, by Tecnologico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. PHD candidate in Management, with minor in Entrepreneurship by the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona. Masters degree in Management by the same University. Masters in Finance with Cum Laude Honors by Tecnologico de Monterrey, Campus Guadalajara. Specialty in Social-Economic Project Evaluation by Tecnologico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. At present, he serves as Director at the Strategic Studies Center, being in charge of various studies in Regional development such as: Identification of investment opportunities (IRION, 2009), Model of Gazelle firms acceleration (ITESM, 2010), Key performance Indicators for National Presidency 2030, Evaluation of over 40 investment projects for both private and public sectors, having as main clients: Ciudad Creativa Digital, IBM, BID, World Bank, FAO-SAGARPA, among others. He was regional coordinator of the Fideicomiso "Centro de Estudios Para la Elaboración y Evaluación de Proyectos" (CEPEP) by BANOBRAS, in which he was in charge of the evaluation of over 115 investment projects. He was also Director of the Academy of Finance at the Sistema ITESM, and responsible of the career comitee for the curricula of Bachelor in Financial Management in 2006. He is part of the administrative board at the following groups: Instituto Glaucoma, Consejo Económico y Social del Estado de Jalisco (CESJAL), Grupo Estrategia y Consultoría México.
